いんがかんけい【因果関係】

a relation(ship) of cause and effect; a cause-and-effect relation(ship); cause and effect; a causal relation(ship); a causal link.

●異常気象とエルニーニョ現象には強い因果関係が認められる. It is clear that there is a strong cause-and-effect relation(ship) between El Niño and abnormal weather. | A strong (causal) relation(ship) has been established between El Niño and abnormal weather conditions.
